Across many communities, women and adolescent girls continue to face challenges related to menstrual hygiene, health awareness, and access to basic medical support. Social stigma, lack of education, and financial constraints often prevent them from accessing safe hygiene products and reliable healthcare information.
Poor menstrual hygiene can lead to infections, missed school days, reduced confidence, and long-term health risks. Many young girls discontinue education due to discomfort or lack of proper support, while women in low-income families silently manage health concerns without guidance or resources
Mission Shakti Suraksha is Upakara Care Foundation’s commitment to empowering women through health awareness, dignity, and support.
Through this initiative, we:
Our goal is not only to provide resources but also to break stigma, encourage open conversations, and create safe spaces where women feel respected and supported.
A single contribution can help provide essential groceries, nutritious meals, and hope to families who need it most. Together, we can move closer to a future where no one sleeps hungry.
Upakara Care Foundation is a registered NGO in India working to uplift vulnerable communities through hunger relief, education, healthcare, women empowerment, and environmental sustainability.
