ZERO HUNGER CAMPAIGN
Together, We Can End Hunger
Introduction
Every day, millions go to bed hungry—children, elderly, and families who struggle for just one meal. At Upakara Care Foundation, we believe that no one should suffer from hunger. Our Zero Hunger Campaign aims to ensure access to nutritious food for the most vulnerable sections of society.
Why Zero Hunger?
Hunger is not just a lack of food—it is a barrier to education, health, and dignity. Malnourishment weakens the body and spirit, especially among children. By addressing hunger, we pave the way for development, empowerment, and equality.
Our Hunger Relief Programs
We run several initiatives to fight hunger and food insecurity:
Daily Meals for the Homeless
Freshly cooked meals are distributed to street dwellers, migrant workers, and slum residents.Midday School Meal Support
Ensuring children in underprivileged schools receive a healthy meal every day.Monthly Food Kits for Families
Ration kits with essential groceries for poor families, widows, and elderly citizens.Mobile Food Vans
Special food distribution drives in remote, disaster-hit, or underserved areas.Community Kitchens
Local food kitchens operated with the help of volunteers and donors.
